The Ins and Outs of Health Care Reform: More Changes from Capitol Hill

Sapers & Wallack held this seminar on October 27, 2010 at the Newton Crowne Plaza in Newton, MA. We were pleased to have as our guest speaker attorney Alden Bianchi, the practice group leader of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky, and Popeo, P.C.’s Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice.

In this presentation, attendees were provided with an in depth review of Health Care Reform. Recent updates to the reform and changes for 2011 and future years were prominently highlighted. Benefits professionals learned how to manage National Health Care Reform’s many requirements with an emphasis on the changes employers must make to be compliant with legislation as well as updates to the reform.  Attendees also learned about steps needed to immediately implement in anticipation of future year changes.

Alden Bianchi

Alden Bianchi is a nationally recognized expert on the subject of Health Care Reform. Alden is the practice group leader of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky, and Popeo, P.C.’s Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice and a member in the Employment, Labor and Benefits Section. He advises corporate, not-for-profit, governmental, and individual clients on a broad range of executive compensation and employee benefits issues, including qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, stock and stock-based compensation arrangements, ERISA fiduciary and prohibited transaction issues, benefit-related aspects of mergers and acquisitions, and health and welfare plans.
