Sapers & Wallack’s newest division is Charitable Concepts, which designs and installs programs providing charities with the ability to help secure greater returns on fixed dollar investments. Sapers & Wallack’s advisory team helps non-profits better handle charitable annuities and raise endowments for their foundations, both of which can add a tremendous boost to non-profit organizations cash flow. By applying unique knowledge of available products and the needs of donors and helping organizations understand their options, Sapers & Wallack has helped numerous non-profits fulfill their goals.
Our specialists work with the organization to help them understand these concepts and are available to help consult with their donors to implement them.
In today’s financial environment, the fixed dollar part of a Charitable Foundation Portfolio provides 2% to 3% return and may or may not preserve principal. Our Charitable Enhanced Income concept (C.E.I.) is a method of investing charitable funds to provide guarantee of principal with guaranteed* income in the range of 5.5% to 6.5%.1
If a Trustee or a supporter of the charity will allow the charity to purchase a fixed annuity on his/her life and a life insurance contract to hedge the loss of annuity income at death of annuitant, the charity’s investment can produce income that is two to three times as large, while preserving principal.
1Guarantees are subject to the claims paying ability of the issuing insurance company and based on age. Rates are subject to change and individual rates may vary.
